Wait this isn't a costume party or masquerade?

Wait this isn't a costume party or masquerade?

As Christian we get this funny idea that if we aren't perfect we aren't good enough. So we put on masks and that's no good because then we tend to pretend to be someone or something we are not. Think about how uncomfortable it would be to be in your own skin but not be able to be your actual self at church. For people not to know who you really are,to know your heart, know you're personality. The little quirks like being awkward in conversations, putting a finger to my forehead or calling me a Harry potter or some weird nickname, giving me hugs when I really need one even if I'm still dead tired, giving me grief about my video game skills or how short I am.The possibility of being real and letting people know who we really are it opens many doors and opportunities. Personally I think we believe if we truly show who we people won't like us. We become vulnerable, "naked" in a sense, people will see how imperfect and broken I am. But God created you the way you are and he makes no mistakes. He knows what you will go through in your life. But he prepares you for it and knows what you can handle. So I will leave you with two questions why is it so hard for us to take our masks of and be who we are. Second question is your mask going to be stuck on your face or will you remove it, either way it's up to you.
